A French Empire bronze and gilded oval plaque with Cybele, ca. 1800

The oval plaque with fire-gilt Neoclassical style border with palmettes, pierced at the top with a small hook for hanging, the scene showing at the right the fertility goddess and Magna Mater Cybele, seated, wearing mural crown and holding branch and down turned cornucopia, left from her a lion and child.
